Sixty students from Mr. Kulhanek's creative writing classes competed in rap battles last week. Each student composed a slam poetry piece and performed it during class, competing against another student as determined by a bracket system. Students from other classes were also in attendance and all observers voted, moving winners along in the bracket. When all was said and done, Brett Peterson was crowned the champion and Joyce Van Dixhoorn and David Longstaff tied for second place.  #leadthecharge
