School liaison Deputy Taylor took a few minutes this morning to play in the gym with students on the last day of the traditional school year!


Last week, our students participated in the much-anticipated field day. Coaches Frisbie and Moore planned an amazing day, and high school students got to volunteer to help the elementary students have fun!











Last week, our third graders enjoyed their Bird Nerd Extravaganza. Students learned about different birds and experienced hands-on learning by creating bird feeders, dissecting owl pellets, and writing poetry. Way to go, third grade!








Mrs. Cobb's and Mrs. Holmes' first graders enjoyed Goodies with Grownups this week. Students showed their grownups their portfolios of work and read a chapter book!

Grayling Elementary School wrapped up a successful March is Reading Month with a family movie night showing of The Water Horse. We had a great turnout and lots of fun!



We celebrated March is Reading Month today by having high school football players come to read to elementary students. Thank you to Coach Tunney for making this happen. Thanks to players Corbin Allen, Gavin Cvitkovich, Maddox Mead, Tanner Paulus, Trevor Cvitkovich, Ethan Kucharek, Brox Muscott, Jake Huspen, and Daniel Hunter for taking the time to invest in young readers.











In our morning announcements, we have been focusing on encouraging others. Mrs. Hatfield's 2nd graders took it to a new level! Students can come by and grab a bit of encouragement from their hallway display.
